These are easy building plans for a 6' x 17' chicken coop/run that holds 10-15 chickens (although we have easily had 18 chickens in this coop/run.)
The coop size is 6' by 7' with removable roosting bars and waste tray for easy cleaning. The nesting boxes are easy to reach and access.
Material list is included (with clickable links when viewing on your computer or phone.) Quantities of materials needed are provided, along with a "cut list."
My husband built this coop for me in 2022, and I absolutely LOVE it! The pictures of our coop are slightly different from the plans because our coop was built on a slope. For example, our coop has a stoop in front of the door because of the slope. You will not need one unless you build your coop off the ground.
The paint color we used on our coop is Valspar's Ebony Field.
When we built our coop, we bought all our supplies from Lowe’s here in Nashville, and it was right under $2,000. So depending on where you live and where you get your supplies, it may be a little more or less.
